He was a horse i followed under rules, but has definitely been on the decline in recent seasons, and didnt take to Cross Country. I remember thinking Harbour Pilot was a good thing in the 2006 Cheltenham Foxhunters, as two years previous he had finished less than 2 lengths behind Best Mate in Cheltenham Gold Cup, but was pulled up.
Guess its about the only option if they don't want to retire it.
Will be 12 this coming season and hasn't won a race for nearly 3 years. Might be rejuvenated with a couple of easy point wins but realistically is likely to be around the 130 mark and probably not good enough to win one of the championship hunterchases.
