Having walked the course just now, local trainer Alan Hill confirmed the going is now Good to Soft, Soft in places. It has been raining lightly today, and more is forecast, although tomorrow should be bright and breezy. The wings are now in place and everything is ready for racing tomorrow.
After rain overnight and again this morning, some of it heavy, the going is now Good to Soft, slightly softer in places. A further update will follow tomorrow.

As of Thursday morning, local trainer Alan Hill confirmed that the going remains Good to Soft after an inch of rain in the past week. The course was spiked and rolled last week, the fences are being put out today and the bends will be set up over the weekend.
Showers are forecast over the next few days but, with next week due to be drier, the going is expected to be Good/Good to Soft by race day.
