RULES FOR 2025 "THE MORRIS BROTHERS COMPETITION" and please remember it is ALL about having FUN
The Morris Brothers 2025 Hunterchase Competition.
NO LIMIT ON THE NUMBER OF ENTRIES (ONE PER FORUM MEMBER) THE MORE THE MERRIER 😎
Everyone starts with £100 in the bank.
You will pick either £2 WIN or £1 ew if number of runners allow.
All entries will be placed no later than 1 hour before the race.
No BET is not an option a horse MUST be selected for each race.
All races will be settled at SP and there will be NO rule 4 deductions.
Should your selection be a non runner I will accept a replacement selection up to 30 minutes before the OFF otherwise you will neither win nor lose but stay on the same total as you were before the race.
Failure to enter a selection will result in the following penalties:
1-5 times there will be a £3 deduction each time
6-10 time there will be a £5 deduction each time
After this there will be a deduction of £10 each time
Please note that anyone missing more tha 3 will not be eledgible for the wooden spoon prize.
Special Races and Bonuses Cheltenham and Stratford Hunterchase evenings will have the NAP option for one race at each ie £4 win or £2 eachway. Anyone going through the card at either meeting will receive an additional £20 bonus added to their total.
There will also be a Bonus of £2 for anyone selecting the winner of any of our Pointing Pointers sponsored Hunterchases.
Point to Point Bumper races will be included in The Competition 2025.
There will be NO late entries into the competition and all entries will be in by DECEMBER 31st 2024.

Free bets to be redeemed by the winners in person or on telephone at any point to point course where Morris Brothers are trading and within 2 years from the completition of the competition with a minimum stake of £20 (stake not returned)

£20 free bet (for use at any point-to-point where I am operating) for the the member who selects the most winners over the course of the competition. In the event of a tie, the tied member who selects the most winners at the Stratford finale meeting will take the spoils (in the unlikely event that is still a tie, the one who posted their Stratford selections first will be the winner).

£20 free bet (for use at any point-to-point where I am operating) for the member who selects the biggest priced placed horse each-way in the competition - the selection must not win to be eligible for this prize. In the event of more than one member making the same selection, the one who posted it first will be deemed the winner (earliest post on forum wins - no DMs).
Harley John is giving a prize the the person selecting the biggest priced winner of The Competition.
