Unsung Heroes
As some of my recent posts might suggest, I'm less than enamoured with the reality show that the PPA seems to be trying to create 🤣
However I have to give a big shout out to the Weatherbys/PPRC team. Most racegoers (and many owners) will not be aware of what a great job they do behind the scenes. Despite having to work with some clunky procedures, fairly fragile technology and narrow time frames ...... they are always incredibly helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Today I got the wrong side of a "feature" in the online entry system. A quick phone call and the person at the other end was able to go into the system and make the necessary alterations that got me out of a virtual loop🙂
Also worth flagging that when the days results appear on your screen within a couple of hours, its partly because someone from the PPRC has given up a chunk of their weekend/bank holiday to make sure the results are uploaded.

I have a lot of dealings with Weatherbys PTPRC sending in previews/reports and anything in between (Planner stuff) and cannot speak highly enough of them. Usually Jen or Phil, they never let me down and considering how few of them there are in the office, I can't actually believe how they do it. And it's always with a polite response. I am hugely grateful for their professionalism and downright niceness!
