Mental awareness
Good to see the PPA supporting this.

Following heavy showers this morning, and with two bowsers currently being used to water, the going is now Good, Good to Firm in places. Clerk of the Course Graham Tawell is confident of producing Good ground for racing on Sunday.
Perhaps waiting to take a lead from the BHA regarding the meeting scheduled for Ffos Las next Wednesday?
The going remains Good, Good to Firm in places. Since the last meeting, the course has been spiked and rolled and watering will commence to ensure the best possible ground for racing on Sunday week.
Note: while I will continue to post going updates for the final two South Midlands fixtures, I will not do so next season. The going reports are readily available on the GB Pointing website and social media and I do not want to clog the forum with information that can be found elsewhere!

I sometimes go to Racing Wefare events, often at Ludlow racecourse, and it is good to see how they get people that have worked in racing together and able to talk to others with the same background. They also do a lot of other good work. But sadly so often the people that most need help regarding mental health issues push people away and keep it to themselves rather than talking and trying to get help.
