THE way things are going all meetings will be covered when not if we lose another 10/15 meetings....

Some meetings are not covered this has always been the case - and some meetings dont want coverage it seems... Eventing & team chases are coverd by various companys but charge from £60-90 per round without commentary,

whats the viewing like...?

Thats sad to hear, I guess the meeting will be droped at some point in the future(replaced with a start to the new season fixture!), like ptps Hunterchases are in decline. Hunterchase meetings at Folkstone, Leicester & Fontwell and Towcester & Chepstow (finals) meetings have all gone, the forum people who have tried to keep them alive and have done a grand job.. yes I love Straford may have to but may miss this year as the PPORA agm is now a Zoom meeting...the Foxhunters at the festival is no longer called that - & I guess National HUNT ,will be just called Jumps racing to not upset the general public..

2 Meetings would be lost if the Seavington can not find another venue? with little or no chance of changing venue (Easter Saturday) - did they run at Stafford Cross when they lost Little Windsor? a few years back

I understand they held a dogshow (winners had a bottle of Champagne which were not used for the Ptp races) & Parade of Hounds - seems a lot of people will still on the course after 3pm !

sad day for the Cotley (rumor is that that the course is now finnished) it would cost them a lot , with the Vets, doctors , horse ambulance, racecards,PA man etc etc ... all on site

if he wants live streaming (the costs would not be under £5000 per meeting -even he wants kids to use smart phones) I guess he digs into his own pockets to fund it, it did not work as a pay to view service (& never would with under 50 subscribers last time it ewas tried) and any money from big sponsors should go to the meeting 1st to keep it afloat rather than Live streaming (Only the Heythrop have the resourses to do it atm )

seems the bookies all paid out on Dave Pipe horse as the winner !! 1) the girl on the Doc Carver had thought she had come 2nd) the annoucer in the paddock decided he could not wait for the offical result so gave the result out himself that mr Pipes horse had won, then the bookies had to pay out to Doc Carvers punters when the dead heat was annouced (after at least 10mins + wait), it was the last race & everyone was frezzzing. but why did the bookies not wait until the offical weighed out? (how many punters returned half their winnings?)
