Luck on Sunday briefly touched on this during their weekly Talking Points feature. The pundits were fairly muted and nothing contentious was said but you could tell they had little sympathy for Lasix being administered so close to the race (regardless of the exact timescales). You can easily find the segment in question via youtube.
On a more serious note to this , I can’t believe how nieve she has been? But as a pointing community I would think we wish her well. Maybe Ben and Sam would like to redirect the podcast one last time to get the box drivers thoughts, they couldn’t get enough of him before
She may have been naive but she is very young and had worked there for 7 years? So from school. When you are a young female working for an older, much more experienced man within the racing industry, you pretty much do as you are told. She may not have had a choice.
Valid reason gentlemen for Willes more than disappointing Askham run hence why he was out again at Bangor the following Friday.
If you want to know what went wrong at Askham please contact the Owner or Keeper directly but in any case appreciate you leaving Willes name out of this whole subject 👍🏻
Yes but it had tanked off in front and expended a lot of energy so maybe entitled to be running out of gas after 3 miles. Interestingly the next time out at Tabley when it was short odds on, it came in the paddock looking dull and lifeless. Raced like a horse that had been given a sedatitive🤪
No she can neither work in a yard nor attend a point to point from what I understand.
I feel very sorry for this young lady but I think plenty of us knew full well what was going on. And now not only has she lost her chance of starting out on her own properly but she will have this "guilt" hanging over her when we know full well, she doesn't deserve it. Plus you have to factor in the injuries she has also suffered as the result of a bad fall.
I think her words are very telling and I hope that people can clearly see that she is distancing herself. The mentor involved should be ashamed that she was ever put in this position.
Hannah sadly has taken the blunt end of this. No she was not the owner of the horse so that sentence is incorrect. It’s sad that in a sport that’s struggling to loose a new young trainer over something that clearly wasn’t her. But it’s nice to see people on here and on other social platforms sticking up for her, she genuinely loves the horses puts every bit of love and hard work into them every single day. She will come back from this stronger and better than ever! Hoping people continue to stand by her through this hard time!!
A thing that seems curious is that Hannah is referred to as the owner in the Judicial Panel Notice but Mr D A Malam is named as the owner in the PPA results 🤔
Not sure if I just didn't read it properly earlier or its been added since, but this paragraph says it all
However, the BHA presented the disciplinary panel with a report prepared by Dr Lucinda Tyler, its medication control and anti-doping manager, which ran counter to that version of events. Charlotte Davison, presenting the BHA's case, told the panel: "Dr Tyler goes into quite some detail to explain why, in her opinion, the scientific evidence before her indicated the administration had occurred within four hours of the sample being provided."
In over 60 years of pointing I have never seen a horse more obviously doped...🤨 Trying to pee whilst it was being led round paddock 😝 And still peeing down at the start.
The box driver ( who obviously had no involvement) was previously disciplined for trying to prevent a sample being taken and obstructing the stewards.
Still the connections all got paid out from the gamble so a stable girl being warned off for y months is hardly a draconian punishment.
Well done to the local stewards for having the guts to get the horse tested. Although it would appear that the PPA did everything they could to sweep this under the carpet🤫
Can't imagine any of this will get the blue Mike treatment 🤣
Following this morning's hearing before the independent Disciplinary Panel, Ms Roach has been disqualified for 32 weeks and fined £150. In addition, THE CREADAN ROGUE (IRE) has been disqualified from the 15:05 race at Eyton Point-to-Point on 6 May 2024. Written reasons will be published in due course.
Not quite sure how that can be enforceable as there is no registration of point keeper premises or licensing of keepers. Merely a declaration when Hunters cert is lodged🤪

Funny how when willywonga nearly won at Bangor it would have improved 25lb+ from askham bryan

'We never read the packet'. Obviously a genuine mistake, the print is quite small and its not like they had ever used it before.
How very disappointing to read… HJ, not unusually, telling it as it is. Hope Hannah can come back stronger…
