Very sad to see that John Wade has died aged 80. A self made man who was a wonderful, longstanding supporter of point to pointing and northern jump racing. For many years he hosted two or three hunt racing fixtures a season at Howe Hills, Mordon and his colours were carried to victory a great number of times both between the flags and under rules.
