Historic cup - Surrey Union
There is a post asking for any information on SE Facebook looking for information about a cup from the Surrey Union ptp of 1947. If anyone has anything that might be of interest and wants to pass it on I will add some photos and the Facebook link. I found the meeting listed as being on 10 May in the Pointing Archive but someone else found an advertisement for it being in April 🤷♀️

Bizarre.
I have the results for the meeting at Charlwood on May 10th and there is no record of a horse called Devon II running. In addition, Messrs, Lione and Rew don't seem to have taken part in any race! As there is no race mentioned on the cup, perhaps this was a separate "scurry" which took place?
