Overton
Another great day at Overton today. Never mind the racing, 3 burgers (there were 3ofus) 1 tray chips, 1 bottle water £16. Bargain. Eat 2 of those and you should be on man v food.
1st race, like very race, was competitive and deerstalker appreciated the easier course and decent ground to beat townhill. I got 3/1, 4 runners
2nd race 7 runners and h crow had his first winner of the day on phantoms cave at 9/4, I think it was safe 2nd and all ways and ever 3rd. Could not believe that price
3rd race8 runners and western run was going into the lead and looking strong when falling 4 out, theoldbogroad got up at 3/1 to beat for one night only with somptueux fading to 3rd. All finished tired
The mixed open had h crow win 2 out of 2 for the day and a pleasure to see him at Overton. Class. Eagles rock lost the lead between the last 2 only to get up again at about 2/1 from Batman for ever
The 2m4 maiden was won by hurricane harmony, 5/2 offered!! And taken, Bentley road ran well in 2nd, neska blue in 3rd looks a future winner 7 runners
Last race 8 runners and a great ride for 5/2. I do believe connections may have collected just before me
Great day as always, I had my 5 year old grand daughter with me
