Website down again
See GB Pointing website site is down again ( preumeably trying to fix this weeks issues ) . Given the cost of subscription to access what should be in the public domain..... should the CEO at least put out an apology/ explanation?
Whatever your thoughts on the previous regime they would always be prepared to face up to any flak.

I've held off commenting till now, wanting to give things time to settle in, but I agree the "improved" website is not great. Functionality and capacity testing should have been completed before it went live, and it seems that even where issues are identified nobody is taking responsibility or action to fix them.
It's symptomatic of a wider picture. Blue mic captions often have spelling errors "Bardley" instead of Bradley, "Drake" instead of Darke being a couple of examples. Then this week the incorrect heading on the Sandon preview. Blue mic interviews where the volume is too low to be properly heard and yet they are still published. TV slots with weird camera angles. Yes it's an amateur sport but the people creating and managing the content and the website are paid to do a professional job and it's not really hitting that mark right now
