Dunsmore Schooling
Just back from Dunsmore where a schooling morning was held the day after racing. There where 60 plus horses galloping and schooling. I arrived at 9.30 and at least 20 were just coming off the course. There were lorry after lorry arriving from far and wide. Leaving at 12pm and still a dozen horses just about to go out. Jockeys were kept busy with plenty to ride. Positive to see so many lovely young horses out Interesting a lot of 3yr olds being schooled. The course was well rewarded for allowing the schooling and much appreciated by trainers and owners. Big thanks to the team at Dunsmore.

But I wonder how many of those were rules trainers taking advantage of a racecourse gallop and schooling, rather than horses that will subsequently go pointing?.
