Sorry about hijacking thread, but on the subject of books I would strongly recommend Matt Sheppard's "Confessions of a Slow Two-Miler". People frequently read the books by the top trainers with big strings of horses, but this gives a much more realistic insight into the majority of trainers. As Matt and Nicki both started out pointing also some stories from the pointing scene.
