Kempton Hunter Chase
Seems such a shame after having plenty of runners in the 3 hunter chases last week that we have ended up with a match here, but it does seem a bit daft that Wincanton have stuck an amateur riders race on their card on the same day and I wonder if that has played a part in why so few were entered in the first place.

Not sure its always easy to attribute a reason for a particular small field. Last season the only 2 runner HC was the one held last week at Exeter, that drew a very healthy 12 runners this year. Hope Kempton hang onto their one, its the last left at a "London" track.
