Hunter Chasing
I thought Ilona made a very interesting point about the fact the Saturday at Stratford was worth more money than the Friday. I've not checked how the attendance's compare but when it comes to media rights the non hunter chase card will trump the hunter chase card. The media rights being based on how much turnover a card has and clearly a hunter chase card isn't going to do great sadly. I know there are some in who bet on them who would rather the less info out there the better so they can take advantage, but the less money bet on them the less of those races that there will be. With the awful Racing Post new design this week I checked out some other sites, but the Post is the only site to include British pointing form. One site told me that it was too expensive for them to include it. Surely it should be the case of getting as much info out there as possible so people can actually attempt to have an informed bet on hunter chases. Clearly it effects other races as well and for example Jet Smart who runs at Worcester tomorrow doesn't have his pointing form mentioned anywhere bar the Post. In this day and age of punters wanting as much info as possible the sport really doesn't help promote itself.

So simply throw the pointing folk to the lions then rather than look after them for the one day they possibly have been working towards
