HAMILTON BLOODHOUNDS at HIGHAM on SATURDAY FEBRUARY 7th

GOING UPDATE: GOOD / GOOD TO SOFT IN PLACES (Wed 28th Jan). 

27th January 14.5 mm of rainfall fell. Forecasts Unsettled from Sunday 1st February until Wednesday 4th February with a possibility of a further 10mm of rainfall in total during this period. Currently forecasts predominately dry from Wednesday 4th to race day with temperatures above freezing.

 

HAMILTON BLOODHOUNDS are the new hosts for the first of two meetings being held at Higham racecourse, on the Suffolk/Essex border which takes place on Saturday February 7th.  

 

The racing is always fast and furious around the popular Higham course and there will be all the usual attractions accompanying the racing. An avenue of trade stands offering a variety of country clothing, dog accessories etc, together with a good selection of catering outlets and a public bar.

 

The racing will commence with two pony races from 11am with the first of six steeplechase races starting at 12 midday.    

 

ADULT ADMISSION £20 at the gate. Children 16 and under free. FREE PARKING

 

Dogs on leads please.

Higham racecourse is situated midway between Ipswich and Colchester, fully signposted from the A12 using the B1068  (Sat Nav CO7 6NG )
